I began pubishing sex manuals using my own photos, when the first Ann Summers shop opened in Charing Cross Road, and needed great sex books to sell. My Sex Maniacs Diary reached 100,000 copies a year. I slowly became more interested in running Outsiders, for disabled people to find partners. After doing this for 34 years, answering the Sex and Disability Helpline, setting up SHADA, the Sexual Respect Tool Kit and a sexual advocacy programme, I was asked to write a book on sex and disability for Jessica Kingsley.
On 19th November 2014, this book is being launched.I have a degree in Zoology from Exeter, a Diploma in Human Sexuality from London University, an Honorary Doctorate from the Advanced Study of Huuman Sexuality, and was named as one of 80 Top Acheivers by the family planning Association.
